SYNOPSIS
Directed/Produced by Oscar-nominee and Emmy-winner Matthew Heineman and Produced by Emmy-winner John Battsek, THE THIRD MAN explores the fight for racial equality at the 1968 Olympics and the sacrifice one man made for standing up for what he believed in. This iconic moment is examined through its unsung hero Peter Norman, the third man on the podium during the black power salute in Mexico City. Ripped from current headlines, the story is as relevant today as it was in 1968.
